Whilst there hasn’t been much change to the processing power needed to play this year’s game at 8GB the minimum amount of RAM needed to play FIFA 17 is double last years PC specs.

The most notable change is the whopping 50GB hard drive space required to load FIFA 17. At over 3 times last year’s required amount you’re going to have to delete some of those selfies to make room!

The huge hard drive space in the FIFA 17 PC specifications is a small price to pay for the PC version to take over the Frostbite engine. PC players have been hard done by in the past – some of you will remember when next gen consoles moved to the Ignite engine, the PC version got left behind. The Frostbite Engine is necessary for The Journey game mode, a cinematic story mode where you get to lead Alex Hunter through his professional football career.
