The EA team have been out and about getting Brazilians recently. Not like that! They’ve been securing deals to get the teams in the Brazil League signed up for FIFA 14.
It was great news for skills fans that EA had acquired the licences for so many of the Brazilian League teams last year but how many have they got for FIFA 14?
Hot on the heels of the news about the Blue Square Premier League, it’s come to light in a recent article by techtudo that negotiations are firmly underway between EA and the majority of Brazilian clubs for the rights to represent them officially in FIFA 14.
With Santos and Atlético Mineiro already locked down we’ll be blessed with players like Neymar and Ronaldinho (assuming they still there next season) without whom FIFA just wouldn’t be the same.
Despite being relegated to the second tier of Brazilian football (Serie B) one of Brazil’s top supported clubs, Palmieras, could still make an appearance in the “Rest of the World” section. According to their commercial director, Marcelo Giannubilo, there is an ongoing conversation with Electronic Arts for the presence of the club in the next FIFA.
