Let’s face it. The best players in FIFA 14 Ultimate Team is always going to be the subject of great debate but ultimately EA have the last word regarding players ratings and it’s something we all have to come to terms with.
Here are the 50 best rated overall players that will be available in packs from the start of FUT14.
The player information released shows the usual card stats including overall rating, players position, pace, dribbling, shooting, defending, passing and heading stats but also gives us a bit more insight into each player including their height, their work rate, preferred foot, how good they are with their weak foot and what level of skill moves they can perform.
With the FUT14 web app set for early release soon keep an eye out for some bargains. (also keep a look out for Legend players on Xbox!)
Not surprisingly, the face of FIFA 14, Lionel Messi, grabs the top spot closely followed again by Christiano Ronaldo (always the bridesmaid). More surprising is the world’s most expensive player, Gareth Bale, is languishing in seventeenth position behind players like David Silva and Sergio Aguero. I’m not sure Real Madrid would agree with his measly 87 overall rating.
Are there any other players you think should be ranked higher or any that are punching above their weight?

Well iv`e played the closed beta and was terrible, ball was like a lead ballon and turning circle of players very sluggish,, It is a beta after all but the game did not feel balanced and keepers were poor….lets hope that changes on release
