Take a look at this video showcasing Xbox Kinect.
Microsoft has announced that Kinect, the hands-free interface for Xbox 360 games console, will cost £129.99 and include launch title Kinect Adventures. Microsoft says the Kinect sensor will work with both the new model Xbox 360 which was launched at E3 last month and every one of the current generation of Xbox 360 consoles.
I admit that it looks amazing but I don’t know whether I’d be comfortable making the jump from controller based Fifa to Kinect Fifa (Yet!)… Mind you I wasn’t happy when the guys at EA radically changed the controls from Fifa 06 to the first next gen Fifa title, Fifa 07 but this turned out to be a huge step forward and opened the way for a much more ‘in control’ Fifa experience once I got used to the controls.
What do you think? Would Kinect make Fifa better or more “Arcade”? Or do true Fifa players like the precision you get from a controller for the world’s greatest football simulation???
Let me know!
