One of the most eagerly awaited in form teams, the Barclays Premiership Team of The Season, has landed in FUT packs today. The team includes the best players in the Premiership this season chosen by members of the EA Sports community.
The line up, unsurprisingly very similar to the PFA’s own team of the year with a couple of exceptions, includes some of the best known footballers in the league and is bursting with of pace, ability and power.
The FIFA 13 TOTY is finally available in packs and you can check out the upgraded ratings and dates they are in packs below.
The FIFA/FIFPro World XI for 2012 was voted for by over 50,000 FIFPro professional players and the winners were announced during a glitzy awards ceremony yesterday.
The following players made 2012′s World XI and will also for FIFA 13′s TOTY (Team of the Year) meaning you’ll be able to get your hands on greatly updgraded in form versions of the players (if you’re lucky enough or and Ultimate Team high roller!)
We’ll update the ratings and times as they become available but we expect defenders, midfielders and forwards to be available in packs for 2 days at a time.
The Ballon d’Or ceremony is tonight and that means that the most exciting in form players all year will be released on Ultimate Team in the form of the FIFA 13 Team Of The Year (TOTY).
EA Sports FIFA’s frontman Lionel Messi is favourite to pick up the Ballon d’Or award for a record forth year in a row with Barcelona team-mate Iniesta and Real Madrid’s Ronaldo close behind.
It’s the FIFA World XI that we’re all really interested though as each of the players chosen will receive their highest rated in form Ultimate Team card to date and not only be a beast on the pitch but also worth a fortune in the transfer market!

The Spanish Liga BBVA Team Of The Year features some of the greatest players on the world stage and their overall ratings certainly reflect that.

When I first got my hands on the FIFA 13 guide I was told that it would be updated throughout the year. It makes sense, the game was relatively new when the first edition of the guide was released and gameplay online evolves all the time and new techniques (and I hate to say it, glitches) appear all the time.

I found the overall rating system FIFA used was a little misleading sometimes, and that players were “praised” for having a high attribute rating for things that weren’t important for their position. This made it difficult to find the true best players in FIFA 13 Ultimate Team.
EA have announced that they’ve scrapped their online pass. Going forward you’ll no longer need to use the extra code to play your games online. But what else have they got in store?
Last night Ultimate Team players got a shock when a when an unusual, light blue card cropped up in their player searches. Joey Barton’s personal ramped up Ultimate Team card had been listed for sale for a starting price of 5,583,000 coins.
