FIFA 13 Leagues

Everyone wants their league in FIFA 13 but did yours make it in? Below is the full list of all of the FIFA 13 Leagues.

Every year EA SPORTS have a torrid time negotiating for the licenses for a number of leagues and I’m sure they’d include every one if they had the chance but unfortunately the harsh, real world out there doesn’t care if Steve wants to take his beloved Galatasaray to the top of the Turkish Süper Lig.

It’s a web of red tape, money and lots of overcomplicated legal talk like “confers permission to engage in otherwise proscribed conduct” and “competent authority to exercise a certain privilege that, without such authorization, would constitute an illegal act which, of course, both mean “can“…

Fair play to EA though because they do keep adding leagues each year (albeit slowly) which keeps adding authenticity and diversity to our games.

This year’s addition to the FIFA 13 Leagues is the Saudi Pro League. A fast growing league with a lot of money to spend…

You can check out our top Saudi Pro League teams and players to watch out for.

So no Rangers FC right enough. well EA sports will not be getting my business and i will post on some other Rangers forums to boycott FIFA 13. Was just about to purchase the new vita and also a new PS3 but no need now.

This may also affect further purchases from EA sports as i believe Rangers are indeed still a big draw. Hopefully other Rangers fans will follow this as well and boycott the game.

No Big Changes -__- The Greek, Turkish & Czech League should be in this!!!!

  3. mlindroo September 8, 2012 at 12:56 pm

The biggest omissions are clearly the Turkish and Ukrainian leagues … in particular the top clubs (Shaktar Donetsk, Dynamo Kyiv, Fenerbahce, Besiktas). I would also like to have the Chinese and perhaps Quatari leagues since they have some big name players such as Didier Drogba. From South America, there is also Argentina.

On the other hand, I really don’t understand why the Irish and Saudi leagues are included although I guess the license fees must be small.

What does that suppose to mean?!!!
Saudi Arabia?! Are you kidding?! I thought there would be Turkish or at least Greek league to be added!!!

FIFA should include a bit of English non league… Maybe the Blue Square Premier as DLC?

Obviously I’d love it down to the Isthmian/Northern Premier & Southern leagues but a bit of Forest Green or Dartford in career mode would be fun!

Argentinian League should definitely be in the game, but I believe is do to licenses with the different clubs etc.
Also Liga MX (Mexican League) Second division should be added, and other Great teams from South America. Colo Colo, U de Chile, Penarol, U de Quito etc etc.

why cant they just have a couple of teams from each league in europe?

The fact Fenerbahce, Dinamo Kiev and Shakhtar arent in it is rubbish

In the rest of world they should include every champion from europe

    • Craig Cole September 15, 2012 at 12:43 pm

Again it’s all down to licensing I’m afraid. EA have to negotiate deals with each individual clubs if they don’t have the rights to the league…

I was so happy for FIFA 13, because I did boycott the 12th just because of my team, Besiktas JK, wasn’t in it. I thought that they would be in the FIFA 13, but it doesn’t seem that way. Anyhow, I will continue boycotting FIFA. Why are you doing this EA? I’ve been playing FIFA, even when PES was a billion times better, back in the days. I have almost played every FIFA game til the 12th one. After the fiasco with licensing problems, and putting out the Turkish League, which is the best league in Europe after the best 4 leagues, I haven’t enjoyed a product which was indicated in my lifestyle before. EA, I did not slide/defect to PES (Even though I am a big fan of Konami’s MGS and Suikoden series) during the reign of FIFA 12 and waited patiently til the release of 13 with the hope of Besiktas in it, but now I am considering of defecting to PES.

    • Craig Cole September 23, 2012 at 11:27 am

Hi Jordan – it’s been confirmed since the release of this post that Rangers will be included in the Rest of the World teams.

Thanks for the reminder! I’ll update the post. :)

hey there is no big deal…like they should pu the teams that when to the MUNDIAL OF SOUTHAFRICA! plus what the problem with the fifa games that they don’t put HONDURAS in this game???? or the liga of honduras…there are hondurian people that play this!! not only mexicans.

The Australian A-League is in, the Korean K-League is in and now the Saudi Pro League.

EA should make FIFA games to be regionally specific. Of course you’d have to have the European region, that’s a given seeing that its the most popular with football fans the world over. But why not make it so that wherever you live, the game has all the leagues and confederations that matter in your region. So for Australia, Japan, China, Korea and associated member nations would have a FIFA game that contained all those that make up the Asian Football Confederation. The same could be done with the African nations, they would get a FIFA game that had everything in it that is part of the CAF (Conf. of African Football).

    Why can’t they do that?

  14. John brown September 28, 2012 at 1:38 pm

The Turkish league MUST be in it. It’s just too stupid that it isn’t. EA and FIFA should work on making it happen!

    • Joe Moreno November 2, 2012 at 5:46 am

I agree 100% with you, but I’m afraid that it isn’t as easy as that. EA has to go to each team individually and negotiate till they get the license to put the team, not all clubs want to be in the game. Other than that you’re right :)
oh and don’t forget that PES barely has any licenses so some of the teams are crap, either missing (strange logo, name and players)
