If you’ve played the FIFA 13 demo then my guess is you’ve spent just as much time on the practice pitch trying to outsmart the new skill games as you have playing the actual game!

(You’ve only got access to bronze skill games in the demo – wait till you get your hands on the sliver and gold skill games!)

The FIFA 13 Skill Games have been introduced to this years game not only as a tool to gain valuable XP but also to help you get to grips with the fundamentals of the game and maybe introduce you to some of the more advanced techniques that you might not get exposure to just by playing matches by yourself.

YouTube aficionado, Nepenthez got his hands on these skill games at a recent EA community event and talks us through 8 of them in this set of videos.

Premier FIFA 13 Guide Evolved: 2nd Edition – Bigger And Better!

When I first got my hands on the FIFA 13 guide I was told that it would be updated throughout the year. It makes sense, the game was relatively new when the first edition of the guide was released and gameplay online evolves all the time and new techniques (and I hate to say it, glitches) appear all the time.

Obviously the fundamentals of FIFA 13 are going to remain the same but just like in any game or sport it’s the players that adapt and fine tune their game that will dominate online in the long term.

Z Rating: Find The Best Players In FIFA 13 Ultimate Team!

Ever bought a player that you thought was going to be great based on their overall (OVR) FUT rating but turned out to be a flop on the pitch? We all know that FUT’s overall rating can be a bit misleading at times so who are really the best players in FIFA 13 Ultimate Team?

Use the Z Rating to find out!

I found the overall rating system FIFA used was a little misleading sometimes, and that players were “praised” for having a high attribute rating for things that weren’t important for their position. This made it difficult to find the true best players in FIFA 13 Ultimate Team.
