When I first got my hands on the FIFA 13 guide I was told that it would be updated throughout the year. It makes sense, the game was relatively new when the first edition of the guide was released and gameplay online evolves all the time and new techniques (and I hate to say it, glitches) appear all the time.
Obviously the fundamentals of FIFA 13 are going to remain the same but just like in any game or sport it’s the players that adapt and fine tune their game that will dominate online in the long term.
Yesterday Joey dropped me an e-mail to tell me he’d just released the 2nd edition of his successful guide and added some great resources.

After being in the shadows of their iPhone using peers, Android users have long awaited the release of the EA SPORTS Football Club Android app.
The wait is finally over as the FIFA 13 Ultimate Team Android app has hit the Google Play Store.
EA SPORTS™ FIFA online producer Garreth Reeder spoke to FIFA.com recently about what inspires the team to deliver new and exciting changes to FIFA each year and where they get their ideas from for improvements and new features year after year.
Garreth talks about how valuable the feedback they get from the top players is, how quickly they adapt to new games.

On 11th January 2013 the FIFA 11 online servers will be shut down for good. EA retire the online services of games when the number of players is fewer than 1% of all peak online players across all EA titles.
FIFA 11 brought us Personality Plus (where stars took on the emotions and mannerisms of their real life counterparts), a revamped Career Mode that let us play as just your Pro, as a manager or as player manager, Creation Centre and co-op celebrations.

The Wii U makes it’s way to our shop shelves in plenty of time for Christmas and along with it comes EA SPORTS FIFA 13.
FIFA 13 on the Wii U boasts “new ways to play” taking advantage of the Nintendo handheld’s motion controls including:
Lift and Look – lift the Wii U up and get a view from a different perspective during set pieces for example.
Point and Pass – point to where you want to play the ball.
Tap and Tackle – time your moment and tap the screen to make the tackle.
Shake and Shoot – shake the Wii U to take a shot. (We’re not quite sure how the aiming works with this one…)

FIFA 14 is still nearly four months away but EA have released this gameplay trailer, more information about the key features that are being introduced and the official FIFA 14 release dates for both Europe and the US.
US residents will be able to get their hands on the game slightly earlier this year on 24th September whilst their Europe dwelling counterparts will have to wait until 27th September 2013.
You’ve probably seen the messages around various social media streams, “Ultimate Team is only available on Xbox ONE!” To alleviate any doubt in your mind we can tell you that this IS NOT TRUE.
EA have confirmed that like previous years Ultimate Team will be available on PS4, PC and Xbox One (as well as Xbox 360 and PS3).
