UltimateFIFA FVPA Roundup #2
Hey FVPA, how the hell are you? Thanks for checking out Roundup #2!
Have you ever been clean through on goal and gone for the spectacular finish for the cameras?
Er… well most of us faced with an open goal would play safe and just side foot it into the open net.

Big News!!!
The “Trigger Glitch” is going to be fixed! EA are finally giving cheats the finger and have announced that an up and coming patch will put a stop to the so called “Trigger Glitch” that’s affecting so many of us!
Romily Broad explains:
“• Firstly, we will be fixing an issue with FIFA 11’s Clubs mode which allows clubs to unfairly end games without a penalty when they are losing: The so-called Trigger Glitch. This involves clubs arranging a disconnection to the game via the Player Ratings screen. To make extra sure that this issue is completely resolved for you, we will be removing this screen from the pause menu of all online modes.”
“• Secondly, we will be addressing poor teammate AI when playing as a Virtual Pro. Our fix will make sure that, no matter what difficulty you set for your opponent, your team AI will be much improved, making for an altogether better experience when playing the game in this way.”
“• Finally, we will correct a problem where your Virtual Pro can’t be brought into your Career Mode game.”
Beware Glitchers and Boosters
Looks like action might be taken against teams if you can provide evidence of “cheating” as EA live Producer on FIFA11 and Ultimate Team 11, Christophe Labrune said on Twitter:
“Going through PM’s of control glitch evidence. Then on to club stat padding. Not really fun, but what has to be done has to be done!”
He also commented as EA_FLT on the EA Forums.
You can read more details about the patch here and I’m sure we’ll all be keeping an eye on the progress!
Now, anyone fancy some Boosting??? :$
International Threads
Many of you will have already noticed that the International Forums have undergone some housekeeping by the FVPA technogeeks. Hopefully this will make things less cluttered for everyone and things will be easier to find.
If you haven’t noticed, head over to your International Forum on PS3 or Xbox and take a look around!
The rest of the Forum will be getting looked at next starting with the recruitment threads so keep an eye out for that.

There’s also the unofficial FVPA Clubs League Table that will still be running concurrently for the time being.

Meet The Manager

This Roundup we caught up with Si_The_Spy, manager of The Legend Killerz, one of the longest running clubs on the PS3 who was kind enough to answer some questions about his club:
How long have The Legend Killerz been around?
We formed in October 2009 – just after the release of FIFA10. In FIFA10 alone we played over 4500 games with TLK and over 2.5k with a team called Round ur House FC, which the forum community also got to know very well.
The core players played for both teams.
You must have seen so many teams come and go in that time, have you got any advice to help other teams stand the test of time?
Its basically egos and childishness that makes teams fold all the time. A few defeats and a few bad performances is enough for teams to quit. You will notice the teams that have hung around are run by mature people who know what they are doing. PLUS EA make it too easy to fold and remake all the time.
Being such a well known team, plenty of other teams must be out to beat you. Which teams are your biggest rivals?
We have had far too many rivals over the last 2 years to mention any in particular, the current is GOAL HUNTERS FC who after battering them twice in the one night with a smaller team, they are hounding us for a rematch. But to be honest there has been too many.
Finally, a bit about your team:
Most skilful player? Mikee ” no hair” Horler
Brightest? Must be me ![]()
Most annoying? Dan ” arsenal are crap ” Reddan
Best celebration? The no arm dive
