Those of you lucky enough to be playing the FIFA 12 Early Release have the chance to gain some nice XP by completing the first of many My Challenges.

EARLY ACCESS SPECIAL: Despite creating a series of chances, Chelsea trail 3-1 at Manchester United.

I think the My Challenges are a nice addition this year and I’m sure this season will throw up some crackers!

yeh i have the above. The challenge in itself is rather easy on semi pro. The game in itself is a big step forward and alot harder to defend. You can search for unranked games in lobbies but when it comes to “ranked” its a whole different board game. Basically its like searching for a quick ranked match not knowing the skill level as your opponent etc because of the league they introduced. Overall very impressed…

Defense is more challenging and, to be fair, a little frustrating at first. Easy to overcommit, and harder to break the habit of pressing X to tackle. BUT it is quite rewarding when you can discourage an attack with smart positioning and a little secondary pressure.

I’d say there’s also a greater sense of space on the pitch and a little more time in which to operate. Most welcome as I was always a bit frustrated by the fact that we’re playing on one of the largest playing fields in sport and it always felt like opponents were easily crowding you.
