EA have announced in their FIFA11 Podcast that the latest patches are due to be released on:

  • 16th March 2011 for Xbox and

  • 16th March 2011 for PS3.

The patch will fix the “Trigger Glitch” in FIFA11 Pro Clubs aswell as improve the standard of the AI players.  An number of issues with FIFA’s Ultimate Team are also addressed.

Wow has hell actually frozen over then? This is great news was expecting it mid next month. Hopefully they’ve got the fixes right this time unlike the last disappointment.

I’d just wish that they’d finally fix the micro-freeze problem with slims that they said they’d do months ago!

your patch didnt do 1 thing right for me and just about disabled me from playing online altogether, EA should be locked up for the largest mugging the world has ever seen, clap clap EA good 1, u got us again! Last time with me though, i dont care if fifa12 comes with jenna jameson i wont be getting it, oh and to all who posted ‘awesome news’ etc why dont u wait til the patch comes out b4 u lick EA’s hole!! GO AND DIE ALREADY EA!!! ps what good does it do for US (the fools who fell for your crap) taking player ratings away?????

Taking the player ratings screen away also took away the biggest glitch on FIFA Clubs – the ability for teams to back out of games when they were losing and making the game not count. Cheating teams would never lose and the leaderboards were becoming a farce… It also fixed a bug in Ultimate Team which meant cheats could take over your team… That’s good news isn’t it?

No-one’s saying the version of FIFA is perfect and the connection issues have been shocking but for me this patch fixed two really important things…

Really hope your connection gets better and that EA do concentrate on online stability more in FIFA12.
